Product Information

Factory Dump Bed Kit With 4,000 lbs of possible lifting strength, the PIERCE dump bed kit can make your work truck more effective at home or on the job. The hydraulic hoist kit is designed to allow the truck bed to remain the same height and go undetected when installed properly.  All hydraulic and electric components, wired control, scissor assembly, mounting brackets, hinges, and mounting hardware are included. Dump Bed Kit Specifications Load capacity : 2 Tons (4,000 LBS) Maximum angle: 45 degrees Dumping time: 10 sec. Breaker: 200 amp, 12VDC Pump pressure: 2,500 psi lifting and 500 psi lowering Cylinder has a working pressure of 3,000 psi, with a test pressure of 4,500 psi Dump Bed Kit Installation With experience, most dump kit installation typically takes 12 to 16 hours. If this is your first time, expect to spend at least 16 to 24 hours of work to complete your dump kit conversion. The dump bed kit includes hydraulic cylinder, pump, fittings, hoses, hinges, cut parts, wiring, and a control. We offer various different remote options to suit your application. As with any dump kit, care must be taken not to exceed the capacity of the truck. PIERCE Dump kits are not rated to be towed with a gooseneck hitch or off the bumper. Trailers are ONLY to be towed by frame-mounted receiver hitches. We recommend reinforcing your truck bed.
