I am 78 and this week the temperature has been below 0 and I was sick, but the cows had to be hayed. Instead of doing it on a slow, open tractor I was able to do it quickly in a warm truck. I should have gotten the hay spike years ago. Well worth the price.

Very nice unit. Seems well made and durable. Says it will go 150’ but I’ve been 300’ and it still works. I will have to see just how far it will respond.

The only thing that I could think to make that any better is to make a plug in for the remote so it doesn't have to be in the weather all the time. I just added a 4 pin connector and plug to it for that reason.

Although it has not been used as of yet because it is a Christmas gift, I see from looking at it in person--that this will be a wonderful device for use in our cattle working. It is not too big--I can pick it up and carry with ease, I especially like the fact that the covers for the tubes where guns will go are attached to the cooler. Things get crazy when working cattle and if the caps were not attached-I could see big problems with loosing them. Also, I like the stainless steel tubes and the fact that there are "3". Overall, I like the VaxMate Cooler and can't wait to assist my son when we work cattle in the spring-so we can use it. I think he will love it.
